This company went online in March of 2006 and was officially introduced to society in July 2006, made an initial public offering in November of 2013 and was purchased by Elon Musk and is currently private as of October 2022, being incorporated into X Corporation.
The service is well-known for its innovation in using a shortened format of messages and other content like hashtags and retweets. In fact, among the offered services by Twitter were Twitter service, Vine service and Periscope.
