Road Crash UK is an independently run and free website that charts every police-recorded road accident in Great Britain between 1979 and 2025. This website is totally unbiased in regard to its affiliation with government agencies such as the Department for Transport and the police. The website is based solely on Open Road Safety Data released by the Department for Transport, including national collision, vehicle and casualty records (STATS19).
Users of this website can navigate using the mapping function, with cluster maps available even at street level, search the database and identify locations with the nearest recorded accidents. In addition, the website provides access to statistical charts.
