About MAX
MAX is an all-purpose smartphone application and communication network that originates from Russia. This application is overseen and provided by Communication Platform Limited Liability Company, which belongs to the internet holding VK.
It contains various messaging and communication features on a single platform and allows users to send text messages, transfer files up to 4 GB in size, and make voice and video calls using NoLACE technology. In addition, users may upload short round videos, subscribe to channels operated by creators, and communicate with chatbots and mini-apps.
The whole platform is designed both for regular communication and for the use of additional digital services. Regular users also use MAX to manage daily tasks, communicate in the context of education in Sferum, verify their identity using Digital ID, sign various documents electronically, and use e-government services. The application was launched on March 26, 2025.
