LoopNet is an online marketplace and marketing tool that specializes in commercial real estate. It is run by CoStar Group, Inc. as its subsidiary market platform. Dennis DeAndre started the company in San Francisco in 1995, and it was later purchased by CoStar Group in 2012.
The platform features listings of commercial properties for sale, properties available for lease, as well as auction listings provided by Ten-X. Additionally, the tool integrates with other services, such as BizBuySell, where one can browse businesses for sale. All of these resources combine several important aspects of commercial real estate listings in one tool.
